I'm Ashley Caputo, RN, Functional Medicine Practitioner, and founder of RootedWellness.

After graduating from St. Petersburg College of Nursing, I spent more than a decade caring for patients in traditional healthcare settings. While I loved being a nurse, I often felt frustrated watching people leave with prescriptions but no real answers. Too often, symptoms were managed rather than investigated.

My passion for functional medicine became personal as I navigated my own struggles with fatigue, weight gain, hormone imbalances, and "normal" lab results that didn't explain how I felt. Watching my mother battle cancer further reinforced my belief that true healing requires looking deeper and addressing root causes before they become chronic disease.

Today, I help women uncover the hidden imbalances driving fatigue, brain fog, hormone symptoms, digestive issues, and stubborn weight gain through my signature ROOT Method™.
